Plans to build 400 new houses in a Cornish town popular with tourists and second home owners have gone on public display.
The proposals for Trecerus Farm in Padstow include 40 ‘affordable’ homes
Developer Poltair wants to build the new estate on a 23 acre site on the B3276.
About 25% of properties in Padstow are second homes and two years ago it was named by the Halifax as Britian’s second most expensive seaside town.
It should be noted that TA believe such house building as this, is intended, IN ADDITION to the mass building program of 68,700 houses which the Government want built in Cornwall.
